Behind the story
Twinkle and her mother first discovered Charlotte Sy Dimby through another family who had already fallen in love with one of our dresses. A truly special bond was created soon after, during a contest organised in collaboration with the renowned American portrait artist Shari Ford.
The theme, “Curtsy”, invited little girls to pose in our designs while performing their prettiest curtsy. Twinkle’s portrait captured both grace and joy, earning her the winning place and a hand-crafted portrait created from her photograph.
On that occasion, Twinkle wore one of our most cherished designs. Crafted in a soft salmon hue, the dress is finished with delicate white lace trims and poetic ribbons, carefully smocked across the bodice. With its gentle silhouette and refined details, it carries a subtle vintage charm that feels both timeless and tender.
Since then, Twinkle’s collection of Charlotte Sy Dimby dresses has continued to grow. It remains a true joy for us to be part of her childhood and the memories woven through these precious moments.
