Anastasia and her child Elle are lucky to live in Cape Cod, popular summertime destination celebrated for its unadulterated beaches and New England seaside way of life.
Capturing the big and small events of her vivacious daughter's daily life through Instagram and her blog Capecodmomma, Anastasia watches her little one grow with a loving eye! It warmed our heart and made us eager to learn more about their sweet family!
WHAT HAS THE LOCKDOWN TAUGHT YOU?
So used to our fast, not to say hectic life pace, this quarantine has made me realize that slowing down is sometimes really necessary. It has given me the chance to be much more present as a parent, to be fully available for my child over a long time period.
WHAT ARE YOU MOST GRATEFUL FOR?
I know that this uninterrupted time with my daughter will never happen again. As a mom, I am grateful for this opportunity to be at home with my little one at such a key step of childhood.
It has not been easy every day managing work from home and full time parenting. Yes, there have been moments of doubts and discouragement. But when I think back of this period in a few years time, I want to remember the special and fun moments spent together more than the chaos and stress of the pandemic.
WHAT IS THE FAVORITE ACTIVITY/CRAFT YOU HAVE SHARED WITH YOUR CHILD SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE LOCKDOWN?
We have been baking nonstop! It’s so fun to watch Elle get excited about measuring and mixing and waiting for the goodies to bake. She takes it so seriously and has been getting very good at it!
We also made a dreamy photoshoot together. Just because we’re stuck at home, doesn’t mean we can’t bring a little vacation vibe in. We put on our matching mommy and me dresses from @petit_peony, our sunglasses and straw hats to go on an imaginary trip to the beach!
