Behind the story
For Sierra, Alysia and Audrina’s mother, it all began with a love for bows. She discovered Charlotte Sy Dimby through the influential tastemaker Emily Hertz, founder of Born on Fifth, with whom we had the honour of collaborating.
For our very first trunk show together in Atlanta GA, we created a dress adorned with ribbons smocked across the bodice. The design immediately caught Sierra's expert eye, and from that moment on, a bow-filled story began.
Season after season, we have imagined matching designs inspired by her exquisite taste and her love for all things feminine, refined, and timeless. Ribbons whether embroidered or delicately smocked, have remained at the heart of these creations, becoming a signature detail woven throughout the girls' collection.
One dress in particular has become a favourite. A timeless classic Peter Pan collar, puffed sleeves and butterfly bow sash shape crafted in traditional oxford grey and white striped cotton with charming bow details across the bodice. It perfectly captures the spirit of the Charlotte Sy Dimby house and the grandmillenial aesthetic of Sierra.
We were deeply touched to even name a dress after her daughters : a gesture that celebrates the bond we share and the creativity that continues to inspire us. We are endlessly grateful for Sierra' trust, vision, and enthusiasm.
