The fresh green of delicious apples in the orchard, the poetic pink of rosebuds, the particular brightness of a summer morning before the heat arrives. There are colours that do not simply sit quietly :  they announce themselves, they lift the spirits, they make everything around them all the more beautiful. This dress has that quality. There is a shade green that exists only in the very heart of a garden : the cool, living green of leaves after rain, of moss on old stone, of things growing quietly and joyfully in their own time. It is a colour so fresh it feels like a secret. We kept it, and we put it here.

Joséphine de Beauharnais expressed her love and creativity through flowers. At Malmaison she gathered blooms from every corner of the world and planted them in a profusion so vivid, so abundant that it took the breath of every visitor who passed through her gates. It wanders through the hours as if guided by a gentle breeze : from orchard lanes filled with ripening fruit to carefree picnics, to games played beneath shifting patches of shade. And as dusk settles, it is set aside at the bedside, its ribbon still warmed by the lingering glow of the day.

There are afternoons that ask nothing of you. No schedule, no plans, no particular destination. Just a patch of grass, a little sunshine, and the quiet certainty that this moment is enough.
